以GOODWILL 为例,它的营运模式是:
接受捐赠-简单清洗,修复或加工-零售店销售-现金入帐-用于就业培训
在这一过程中,首先为残疾人或弱智者提供适合他们能力水平的职业,解决社会问题;然后收入资金后,提供对待业人员(主要是低收入职业)的免费培训,培训后或自身吸收,或推向社会.
而我认为我们中文学校在非赢利组织的营运模式上不是很清晰:
收入学费-转播中文知识-回馈社会(投资于华语文化有关的事业)???
这一过程中解决了一些华人同胞的第二职业问题,对他们经济上有所帮助,但是资金进入后,并没有用于公益事业,而带来更大的物质和社会效益,这是为什么造成相对学校规模的大额现金存款,也是为什么现任管理集团认为学校底子厚,对工资,费用使用不严的原因之一.
如果按资金流通的规律办事,任何企,事业的管理层都不会觉得自己钱太多了.

If NWCS has too much cash suplurs, it should lower the tuition and set up a scholarship fund to help out those families that can not afford to send their kids to NWCS. the money should not be wasted on bonus for Principal for doing nothing, or hiring admin staff that are Principal's close allies.
I agree with this totally. Or we can use it to help poor kids Back in China.
Completely agreed with above comments. The NWCS should follow its stated FINANCIAL GUIDANCE closely to avoid any unnecessary waste. With the financial resources it possess, the school should seriously consider setting aside scholarship funds and/or tuition reduction/waiver programs to help as many low income families as possible that would like to enroll in NWCS, but can't afford to so. Helping less fortunate families this way will definitely enhance NWCS's reputation in local community while fulfilling its stated missions.
