Although I do not agree with the resolution of Board's decision and message below as the owner of this blog. In the spririt of this blog, I post this per Board Chairman's request.
Dear NWCS parents and teachers,
I am writing on behalf of the Board to close out an issue happened on May 7th at 8:42PM when our Principal, Lin Zhou, used School Admin Account sending an email entitled "Note to the NWCS parents: please take a look at those emails" to all NWCS members which exposed an on-going discussion among board members and a small group of parents. The Board has privately criticized Zhou Lin for what she did, because she set a precedent in the school. Although the discussion among a small group of less than 30 parents and the Board is not confidential to all parents, the inappropriateness of Lin's action includes: 1) using our School Admin Email Account to forward such a discussion to about over 1000 members without prior consultation to the Board; 2) forwarding the messages with no introduction or explanation of the topics under discussion and with no signature line; and 3) forwarding edited information that triggered confusions and mistrust.
We are happy to see that Lin Zhou has admitted her mistake and apologized to related party, the school and the Board. She also promised not to repeat this kind of mistake again in the future. The board has accepted her apology and decided to close this issue. Admittedly, the Board has not handled the entire incident in an optimal way during the past month. Let's all put this incident behind us and move forward to build a better school for our children and community. Now, the board and the school are focusing on finishing this semester and starting to operate the summer program. I, hereby, call actions to all members to continue working hard with our teachers, the admin team, and the board to open the next page of our school. I want to call for re-focus on our volunteerism and promoting Chinese language and culture. Your participation in our school at all levels are much needed and appreciated.

Making NWCS a better community
Dear concerned Parents, Teachers and NWCS board: As a concern parent, we do not think every parent of NWCS understand what is exact going on. Also,We do not think you have the place to express you concern. This web blog is for you. We know everyone is caring our children's future, caring our community and like to make this great Chinese school a better place. At this point, you can only put your comment in each of my post. Hi Jerome and all parties,
Thank you so much for your suggestion on how to hand out the Evaluation Form to better ensure the equal/fair opportunity to all principal candidates.
I'd like to propose that the three bodies of school to work together to make this workable as follows:
Note to Board (Peter & Zhihua) - Will you please release the candidates' names to Luping ASAP (say before noon today?)? Also when will the candidates' bios be ready to sent out to all parents?
Note to PTA (Luping) - Please follow up on this matter - once receiving the names of candidates, finish up the evaluation form and send it to admin. or VP Weiqi Lin (weiqilin96@gmail.com) directly as Lin is out of town.
Note to Admin. (Lin/Weiqi) - Once you receive the form from Luping, have Jingzhu to make enough copies (or I can if needed) and number each form before distributing to the teachers of each class. Please also bring parent/student enrollment list to me on the coming Sat. in case both parents (mom & dad) want to fill out the evaluation form.
Please share your thought/input in your earliest convenience. Let's make it happen/work

I do not agree your criticize to the people you nameed. They are devoted volunteers and did tremendous work for the school. As soon as they didn't do anything to benefit themselvs, you should not accuse them! We should allow people to have their own opnions, this is America.
You never (at least I) didn't hear people support Zhou Lin tell us a reason why they support her, and trust her so much. May be they see the good side of Zhou Lin and we just never aware?
Let's laser focus on Zhou Lin, she is the one sent out the email.
For me, whatever contributions she bring to school is not matter anymore. She is not appropriate for this position.
My guess is those 22 parents might not know that she earns over $30,000 from all of us befor they support her. I very much trust most of the 22 parents, and hope they will as well serve our community when the new principal arrives.
气死我了！！！董事会怎么可以随随便便就说“Issues is closed”, How? 结论是什么？周琳道个歉就行了，我们都是一群大傻瓜，不能再提，更不能再问。 什么事儿嘛！难怪周琳可以在学校里无法无天呢。先不说周琳乱发信乱改信的事，财务呢？财务到底是怎么回事？老师一小时拿20元，一年32个礼拜，一周两小时算，一年拿$1216。就算我们开了80个老班，所有老师加一起一年也就是$97,280才. 一个孩子的学费是$350, 安昨天那个李先生说学校有1200个学生，那么收入是$420,000.扣掉一半交房租等，还有210，000，就是21万，就算老师拿十万，还有十一万，我们学校校长加Admin不过6个人，副校长似乎也在叫没有拿到钱，那么学校的钱到底都拿去了呢？
周琳该给我们各交待，周琳拖着不交账就一定有问题。周琳怎么就忽然什么事也没有了呢？董事会也该给我们个交代。是董事会傻呢，还是董事会以为我们傻？
We should focus on the facts instead of persons. No matter who does this or that, there must be reason for doing so. We should find out the reason why and then we can move on to bring the school to the track and trust the board to get this clear
I got confuse, a lot of people keep asking why the 22 parents support Zhou Lin a lot, but none of them come out to say why?

Hi Mingqi and All,
Board is doing the internal audit for teacher's and admin team compensation now. So far, we haven't released any result from our audit. Please let me know where you heard " "the admin is working for money", or "vice principal's pay is over 9 times more than what for teachers". Please provide the evidence. If you have been told by someone, name that person. If you received forwarded emails, please send it to Board. I have served in Board since last June. I have never ever heard anyone in board said, vice principal make 9 times more than what teachers does. In the Teacher-Board meeting, our board member, LonChang had explained what board have been working on in the past months.
Only principal's salary is significantly higher compare to market rate, vice principal and teacher. We are working hard to close the gap. Admin team has done a tremendous job in supporting school. They deserve for what they have been compensated. I also heard a lot of good comments for vice principal, Lin Weiqi and Li Qun.
Let?s work as a team. If you think anyone has been treated unfairly, please send email to board directly

Have you read Peter's email asking us to stop this email thread? If you have, I don't understand why you still want to continue. Is it the board??s decision to ask me the question in your email? If it is not I would obey Peter??s (as the board chair) authority to stop this email thread and will not aswer your question.

That is funny. No matter whether Peter's advice is appropriate or not, it is only his personal suggestion and anyone can either adopt it or ignore it. We are not babies with guardians, right?

L Chen, just FYI, there is a BIG reason for Li Ming Qi acted like a baby in front of Peter. He is kissing up. Otherwise he will be ended up flipping burger somewhere. So, give him a break.
Anyway, it is the pricinpal who lied to the school staffs that the board said: VP is 9 times of pay of teachers; the board want to layoff teachers, lower teachers pay, and board look down upon admin staffs.
She wants the teachers and staffs to hate the board's gut.
The principal lies like a cheap freaking rug. No integrity and morality at all.

各位：周琳即使不当校长了，也要追究她的行政乃至刑事责任。
- 追究暑期班在其任校长期间垮掉的责任。
- 至今未缴出全校教职员工明细工资表。
- 解雇人员未经过董事会批准。
- 道德败坏，滥用学校财产，给全校发邮件，已经造成中文学校空前混乱。
- 撒谎成性，造谣惑众，挑拨董事会与教职员工的关系。造成极坏影响。
- 行政人员大都到高于教学人员的工资，实属管理失职，或任人唯亲。
- 被家长告到LWTC,对NWCS全体社区，给乃至全体中国人的形象造成侮辱。
建议董事会给与周琳已开除处理。
建议董事会：请专业会计市审计师，彻底调查周琳在任期将的所有账目。以备对其进行刑事诉讼。
